Events
We love hosting events for our students and families and host them several times a year. We believe they are a key way to celebrate our students’ growth, create opportunities for kids to be kids with each other, welcome families to campus, and foster community within our building. Events we host throughout the year include Summer Back-to-School BBQ, Trunk-Or-Treat Community Event, School Dances, Lower Academy Community Events, Cafecitos with Principals, Reading Red Carpet Celebrations, Spring Be Healthy Event, Honors Programs, and more! Visit our Calendar & Events page and follow us on Instagram for upcoming events.
Field Trips
Access beyond the classroom walls is also an important part of our student life educational experience. Students visit college campuses starting in 6th grade to start learning more about college life and options they may want to pursue. Our students have also gone to the Boston Aquarium, CT Science Center, and to the Holyoke Community College Theater.
UA Student Government
Every year, our high school students vote for Upper Academy student leadership. Positions include President, Vice President, and Secretary. It's an important opportunity for them to learn about leadership, advocacy, and community needs and we are proud of them and their work on behalf of our student body.
