Our Commitment

Our students’ success is supported by our partnership with families. We commit this as part of that partnership...

We believe that every student can and will succeed when given a rigorous, college preparatory education regardless of their socioeconomic background, race, zip code, or home life. The path to college and a successful profession begins the moment students enter our school, no matter what grade level. We incorporate college into the fabric of our curriculum, throughout our building, and in our character development program. Lower Academy homerooms are all named after colleges and universities. Each year, every grade attends a different college, starting with University of Massachusetts in 6th grade. Academic, social, and character development conversations are grounded in student future aspirations and both college and professional expectations. Our students will be prepared to attend and succeed through college and to pursue a life of choice that this opportunity provides.
