Libertas Academy Charter School $1.7M Comprehensive Capital Campaign
Help us match a $300,000 challenge from the Jennison Charitable Foundation!
WHY LIBERTAS
We promise our students and families that the path to college and a successful profession begins the moment students enter our school. Since opening with an initial sixth grade class, our enrollment has expanded to one additional grade each year toward our ultimate goal to serve 630 Springfield students between 6th - 12th grades. We now proudly serve students in grades 6-11 as we enter our second phase of operation.
WHY NOW
This new school is mission critical and urgent as there is no additional space for our rising 12th grade students in our current building. The new school also makes strong financial sense with a sustainable operating budget that empower us to invest heavily into the academic achievement and personal growth of 630 students annually.
WHY YOU
We are close to reaching our $1.7 million comprehensive capital campaign goal make this new school a reality for our students. We need your support. While we receive public funding as other public district schools, this funding is targeted to educate our current student population and leaves insufficient funding for a project of this magnitude. Your donation will help solidify our equity and start-up costs while supporting our transition from our former building to our new home. Your donation will be doubled by the Jennison Charitable Foundation to achieve our capital campaign goal.

“WE ARE DEEPLY GRATEFUL TO OUR EARLY SUPPORTERS”
“Our goal is to raise $1.7 million so that Libertas Academy is safely capitalized during this vital transition. Donors will have great satisfaction of watching, alongside excited students, our new school being built to support their pathway to college.” Hector Zavala, Esq., past Board Chair
